About this Scholarship
The Berlin Scholarship Program, offered by Reporters Without Borders Germany, is for journalists from war zones and crisis areas who need a four-month break to improve their digital security skills in Berlin. Funded by the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises, the program combines hands-on training in digital security with a peer-to-peer training phase. Participants learn to protect themselves from surveillance and hacker attacks and then design their own training modules to share these skills with colleagues back home.
