About this Scholarship
The Lalit Kala Akademi Scholarship 2022-23 supports young and emerging artists in India by providing financial assistance for advanced training and research in visual arts. The scholarship is open to artists aged 21 to 35 years who wish to develop their skills in sculpture, painting, ceramic art, printmaking, art history, art criticism, arts management, art curation, documentation, or photography. Selected scholars will receive a grant and work under the guidance of Lalit Kala Akademi’s regional centers to enhance their artistic practice.

Open to Indian citizens aged 21 to 35 years. Applicants must be practicing artists or scholars in visual arts. There are no specific marks or income criteria, but preference may be given to those with prior experience or achievements in the field.
