Chandigarh University Entrance Test

For engineering admission the test covers the Class 11 and Class 12 syllabus in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, along with sections on English and general aptitude or reasoning, asked as objective multiple choice questions within a fixed overall time. Other programmes have their own subject combinations set by the university, so the paper a candidate takes depends on the course applied for. The test is delivered as a computer based examination and the university has offered several slots in a cycle so that candidates can choose a convenient date and, where permitted, improve their score. Results are used for admission to programmes at Chandigarh University and for deciding the merit scholarship offered with the admission. Candidates holding a valid score in a national or state engineering entrance test may be considered under a separate route where the university allows it. The pattern, syllabus and scholarship slabs are stated in the official notification. The test window falls in May 2026.
