TU Chemnitz Entry Requirements

For admission to Chemnitz University of Technology PG courses, a Bachelor's degree is required. Whereas, for admission to UG courses, Indian students have to submit a High School Diploma. Note that for the programs taught in English, a proof of German as well as English language is required.

For German language proficiency, minimum A1 level of German proficiency is required at the time of application. Till the end of third study term at Chemnitz University of Technology, students have to submit a German language proficiency proof of A2 level.

• A few of the German language proficiency tests that are accepted are DSH, TestDAF, etc.
• Proof of English Language Proficiency (for those who want to study in English taught program): IELTS / TOEFL
