DIU was founded in 2003 and was recognized as a non-profit, state-recognized private university located in Dresden, Germany. DIU is a subsidiary of the TUDAG group. TUDAG is the business arm of TU Dresden which is known as one of the largest technical universities located in Germany and is also known as one of the 11 German Universities Excellence.
