Anchored Tuition Pledge The Anchored Tuition Pledge is our promise to hold tuition at one rate for each incoming class — you’ll pay the same tuition rate for the duration of your education at Hope. For 2026–27, the tuition rate will be $46,450 for incoming students (first time at Hope). This will be the rate every year during your time at Hope. Anchored Tuition Pledge

Costs such as books, travel and personal expenses range from $3,330 to $3,940, depending on distance and personal lifestyle. View additional information about indirect costs.

Hope participates in the Council of Independent Colleges Tuition Exchange Program, offering tuition-free study to three qualified students from other member institutions each year. The application process involves three steps: apply to Hope College, receive acceptance, and submit the exchange program application. We’ll notify selected students in late March.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) determines your eligibility for federal and state grants and federal loans, as well as need-based gift aid from Hope.

ProcessThe awarding of an international student scholarship is based on an overall evaluation of your application file, including your academic record, a personal statement, as well as examples of involvement and leadership. No additional forms are required. You will be considered for scholarship when your completed application is reviewed by the Admissions Committee. If accepted, you will receive your scholarship offer along with your letter of acceptance.
