New York Institute of Technology - Vancouver Campus

Situated in the heart of downtown city center, near corporate head offices of finance, mining, banking, and service sector, the New York Institute of Technology Vancouver campus has computer labs, student lounges, and a distance-learning center. At the Learning Centre of the New York Institute of Technology Vancouver campus, a variety of peer and faculty-led tutoring services are offered. Through this, support is given to students for their courses in order to build their confidence and gain a deep understanding of their course material.

Some of the other facilities provided at the campus are career readiness support, including one-on-one career counselling, classes, workshops, and “lunch & learn” webinars. The campus is within a walking distance of many iconic landmarks of Vancouver such as Stanley Park, Chinatown, English Bay, etc. A Graduate Students Association represents students at the New York Institute of Technology Vancouver campus. This Association provides students to voice their opinion at the time of dealing with the university’s faculty members and administration. NYIT Vancouver campus also offers social, cultural, and wellness-based activities to students. Career Services are also provided at the New York Institute of Technology Vancouver campus. These career services act as a bridge between the university and employers. The career services at the NYIT Vancouver campus include personal career advising, resume writing and interview training, career-oriented field trips to companies, and networking events for students, alumni, and industry professionals.
