Applying to SHSU is simple! Select the type of student you are to take your next step toward becoming a Bearkat. If you're a parent, family member, or other supporter, we're here for you, too.
You’ll be starting your first year of study at the college level, whether you’re a current high school senior or not.
You’ve earned 12 or more credit hours at another institution at the undergraduate level.
You’re continuing your studies after receiving a bachelor’s degree, such as for a master’s degree or doctorate.
You’re from another country and will be living in the U.S. temporarily to attend college.
You attended SHSU in the past but paused your studies and now want to enroll again.
You’re applying for the D.O. program at our College of Osteopathic Medicine.
You're a parent, family member, or anyone supporting a future Bearkat as they navigate the admissions process and beyond.
