Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD) was established in 1993. It is the first B-School in Pune.

SCMHRD holds AACSB Accreditation. Only 5% of B-Schools in the world have this accreditation.

The institute offers an MBA program. It specialises in HR, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Infrastructure Development and Management, and Business Analytics.

Director Profile

Dr. Damodaran is the Director of SCMHRD. He was previously the Dean, School of Management at IILM University, Greater Noida.

He holds a PhD in Management from UPES, an MBA from IIT Delhi, and a BE in Electronics and Instrumentation. He also holds a Competition Law degree from NLU.

Dr. Damodaran has over 15 years of leadership experience. His experience spans the telecom, IT, aviation, and education sectors.

He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Elteridium. The organisation works on AI- and blockchain-based decision systems for public-private partnerships.

Dr. Damodaran is a TEDx speaker. He mentors the Entrepreneurial Cell at IIT Bombay and contributes to NITI Aayog's Atal Tinkering Lab initiative.

His work on custom GPTs for teaching and business simulations has been featured by OpenAI in the global "Professors Teaching with AI" series. He received the Economic Times Outstanding Leadership Award for building a tech-enabled university. He also received the Celerity 40 Under 40 Supply Chain Achievers Award in 2021.
