Sports Facilities

Sports facilities are available for Cricket, Basket Ball, Badminton, Carrom and Table Tennis. Cricket and Football matches are common, as students use them to rejuvenate.

The Table Tennis Court is a popular spot. Students use short breaks during a hectic schedule to play games there.

Health Care and Medical Facilities

The institute provides health care and medical facilities. A health care centre named SCHC, managed by the Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS), has a residential medical officer.

SIHS has a team of specialised doctors. They conduct the compulsory annual health check-up.

• Every student is insured under the Mediclaim and Road Traffic Accident Policy.
• A gymnasium with the latest workout machines is available.
• A workout hall for Yoga and Aerobics is also provided.

Library

The library is Wi-Fi enabled. It provides access to more than 24000 books and about 2000 audio and video CDs and DVDs.

The library has International and National business periodicals. These cover areas like Leadership, Business, Entrepreneurship and Management. There is enough space and material for students to sit and read.

Auditorium

SCMHRD has a state of the art, fully air conditioned auditorium. It can hold 300 people at a time.

The auditorium is used on a regular basis for regional and national level events and seminars. It is also used for cultural events on campus.

Hostel and Residential Facilities

On campus residential facilities are available for every student. There are separate residential blocks for boys and girls.

Rooms are triple sharing with attached bathrooms. Amenities include 24×7 hot water supply, room cleaning service twice a week, and laundry.

• A well stocked provisional store and juice shop meet daily needs.
• The 'Bala' shop in the boys' hostel ensures students can get food at any time.

Swimming Pool

SCMHRD provides a swimming pool for students. The water quality of the pool is regularly monitored.

A trainer is available on campus to teach swimming to students free of cost.

Computer Labs

The campus has several computer labs for the benefit of students. Computer lab sessions are a part of several core courses.

These courses include Statistics, Economics, Marketing Research, and Research Methodology.
