Vardhman Mahaveer Open University BEd Entrance Exam

The test is an objective paper designed to check general preparedness for teacher education rather than prior study of education as a subject. It typically assesses general awareness, teaching aptitude and attitude, reasoning and mental ability, and language comprehension in Hindi and English, along with school-level subject understanding relevant to the school stage the candidate intends to teach. It is conducted by the university itself at the centres it notifies, and the merit list drawn from it is used for admission to the university programme, with reservation applied as prescribed by the Rajasthan government. Admission is confirmed after verification of the qualifying degree and, where required, the teaching service documents. Because the programme is regulated by the national teacher education regulator, its intake, duration and contact requirements follow the norms in force at the time of admission.
