Eligibility Criteria

Because this is an admission notice, the conditions described are entry requirements for the course rather than criteria for a financial award. Candidates were generally expected to have passed the intermediate or class 12 examination, or an equivalent examination from a recognised board, with science including biology and with English among the subjects studied. A concession in the cost of the application material was indicated for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates.

Admission to ayurvedic medicine courses in India is now regulated through a national entrance examination and centralised counselling, so candidates should check the current national and university requirements before making any plans.
