CENTAC is the Centralised Admission Committee of the Government of Puducherry that conducts admissions for undergraduate professional degree courses in the Union Territory. It is for students who have completed their higher secondary education and wish to pursue courses such as B.Tech., MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.Pharm., B.Sc. Nursing, B.P.T., B.Sc.
MLT, and B.Sc. Agriculture. The committee manages admissions to government and government-aided institutions in Puducherry, ensuring a fair and transparent process for eligible candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed the higher secondary examination or equivalent from a recognized board. They should be Indian nationals and domicile of Puducherry. Reservation is provided for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) as per government norms.
Applicants must meet the minimum qualifying marks specified for each course.
