The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) conducts a single national-level counselling process for admission to undergraduate engineering, technology and architecture programmes. It is for students who have qualified in the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The CSAB allocates seats in National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other centrally funded technical institutes based on JEE Main ranks and choices filled by candidates.
