To apply you need to meet these conditions: The scheme is intended for students studying full time in class 7 at a recognised school in the district named in the notification, whose family income falls below the stated ceiling. Applicants are generally expected to have passed the previous class with the minimum marks set out in that notification, to be residents of the eligible area, and to provide proof of current school enrolment together with an income certificate. The scheme is normally open to students of all genders and categories. The marks, income limit, area restriction and document list for any running cycle are given in the official notification.

Applications close on 30 November 2021. Apply before this date — late submissions are not considered.
