About this Scholarship
The IITB-Monash Research Academy – PhD Scholarships fund doctoral research projects jointly supervised by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) and Monash University, Australia. It is for Indian students who want to pursue a PhD in science, engineering or related fields and who are ready to split their time between campuses in India and Australia.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in engineering, science or a related discipline with a minimum of 60 % marks or an equivalent CGPA. There is no income ceiling, but candidates should be prepared to relocate to both IIT Bombay and Monash University during their candidature. OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS and PwD categories are encouraged to apply.
How to Apply
Start by submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) form online before the published deadline. The EOI asks for academic transcripts, a research proposal outline and referee details. After shortlisting, selected candidates will be invited to submit a full application for the joint PhD program.
