About this Scholarship
The Young Researcher Award is a competitive fellowship for Indian researchers under 40 who hold a PhD in any biological science. It provides a monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000 on top of the host institute’s salary, plus an annual contingency grant of Rs. 5.00 lakh. The grant covers consumables, minor equipment, domestic and international travel, manpower, and other approved expenses.
Awardees must submit bills and receipts to the Lady Tata Memorial Trust office every six months for reimbursement of incurred costs.
