Overview
Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE) is the entrance examination conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for admission to its B.Tech programmes. It is a national-level computer-based test for students seeking undergraduate engineering admission at participating Amrita campuses.
AEEE is based on the Class 11 and Class 12 syllabus. The test assesses Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Quantitative Aptitude. Admission to B.Tech programmes can be obtained through an AEEE rank or through the JEE Main percentile score, subject to the university's admission rules.
The examination is conducted in multiple phases. Candidates who take both phases can improve their performance, with the better performance considered for the AEEE ranking. After the results, eligible candidates participate in the Centralised Seat Allotment Process, where programme and campus choices are considered along with rank and seat availability.
AEEE is conducted as a computer-based test at examination centres. Candidates must meet the prescribed Class 12 eligibility requirements in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics before taking part in B.Tech admission.
