The paper contains 120 questions in four sections, but candidates attempt three sections: Physics, Chemistry and either Biology or Mathematics. This gives a total of 90 questions and 90 marks. The examination duration is 90 minutes and it is conducted as a computer-based test in English or Hindi. Each correct answer carries 1 mark, each incorrect answer carries a deduction of one-third mark, and unanswered questions carry 0 marks.
