AMUEEE is a subject-based entrance test built on the senior secondary science syllabus, drawing questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and it is used to rank candidates for the university's engineering degree seats. The paper is objective in form and is conducted at centres announced by the university, with the examination scheduled for April 19, 2026. Candidates are ranked on their performance and admitted through the university's own counselling and seat allotment process, in which they present documents, exercise branch preferences and take up seats according to merit and the reservation and internal quota rules the university applies, including the provisions for its own school and college students.
