Overview
BVP BMAT, also called B-MAT, is the entrance examination conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) for admission to its MBA programmes. It is a postgraduate management entrance test for graduates who want to pursue an MBA at the university.
The MBA admission process accepts candidates through BMAT as well as certain nationally or state-recognised management entrance examinations, subject to the university's admission rules. Candidates appearing in the final year of their bachelor's degree can also apply, with admission remaining provisional until the required final documents are submitted.
BMAT is an objective-type computer-based examination. The test assesses numerical ability, logical reasoning, English language and comprehension, and computer awareness. The university also conducts further selection activities as part of the MBA admission process.
For the 2026-27 admission cycle, Bharati Vidyapeeth scheduled BMAT-2026 in more than one examination round. The university's published schedule lists February 15, 2026 and June 28, 2026 as BMAT examination dates. Candidates should follow the applicable admission schedule for the round in which they register.
