Bharati Vidyapeeth Common Entrance Test

BVP CET for engineering admission is a subject-based paper built on the senior secondary science syllabus, drawing questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and using objective questions to rank candidates for the university's undergraduate engineering seats. Papers for other programmes cover the subjects relevant to those courses, so candidates take the version corresponding to the course applied for. The test is scheduled for May 2026, and is conducted at centres notified by the university. Candidates are ranked on their performance and are called for the university's own admission process, in which documents are verified, preferences of branch or programme are exercised and seats are allotted on merit at the constituent colleges of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University. Since the university admits to its own institutions, no state counselling body is involved. Marking scheme, paper duration, subject-wise syllabus and the list of participating colleges appear in the official admission notification.
