Central Board of Secondary Education Application Process
- Check your result sheet. You can apply for the CBSE Class 12 Compartment Exam 2026 only if your result shows "Compartment", meaning you failed in exactly 1 or 2 subjects.
- Contact your school immediately. Individual students cannot apply directly on cbse.gov.in. You must apply through your school.
- Ask your school to submit your LOC (List of Candidates) before the deadline. The LOC registration window is June 2, 2026 to June 17, 2026.
- Pay the exam fee. The fee is ₹300 per subject plus ₹150 for subjects with a practical component.
- Confirm with your school that your registration is submitted before June 17, 2026. CBSE will not accept applications after this date in any form or through any mode.
