Crescent Institute Admission Test

The admission test is an objective examination based on the Class 12 syllabus, with engineering papers generally covering Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics along with an English or aptitude component, and papers for other programmes drawn from the subjects relevant to those courses. The question count, the duration of the paper, the mode of examination and the marking scheme are published by the institute in its admission information, and the test is scheduled for May 2026 in the current cycle. Results are used by B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology for admission to its programmes and, where applicable, for merit scholarships. The institute may also admit candidates on the basis of other recognised entrance examination scores or qualifying examination marks under the separate rules stated in its notification.
