For engineering admission the test covers the Class 11 and Class 12 syllabus in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and papers have also included sections on English and general aptitude, asked as objective multiple choice questions within a set overall duration. The syllabus and the section combination differ for the university's other programmes, so candidates take the paper matched to the course applied for. A merit list is prepared from the score and used for admission and, in some cycles, for deciding the fee concessions and scholarships the university offers to high scoring candidates. The result is used for admission to programmes at Centurion University, which runs campuses in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh and offers engineering, technology, management, agriculture, applied science and skill based courses.
