Graduate Aptitude Test Biotechnology

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Biotechnology (GATE Biotechnology) is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India. The exam assesses the comprehensive understanding of candidates in various aspects of biotechnology, including biology, chemistry, mathematics, and engineering principles. The GATE Biotechnology score is used for admissions to postgraduate programs and for recruitment in public sector undertakings. It also serves as a benchmark for evaluating the knowledge and aptitude of candidates in the field of biotechnology.
