Haryana State Technical Educations Society Exam Pattern 2026

The exam pattern depends on the course you are applying for. Each course has a different admission basis.

• B.Tech: Admission is based on the JEE Main 2026 score. There is no separate HSTES entrance exam.
• B.Arch: Admission is based on the NATA 2026 score or the JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 score.
• B.Pharmacy: Admission is based on the state merit list, which is prepared from your Class 12 marks in PCB or PCM subjects.
• Diploma Engineering: Admission is based purely on your Class 10 (or equivalent) marks. No separate entrance exam is required.
• Diploma Pharmacy: Admission is based on the state merit list, which is prepared from your Class 12 marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Maths.

For B.Tech, you must have a valid JEE Main 2026 scorecard. There is no minimum JEE Main score required for registration. Any valid scorecard makes you eligible to apply.

For Diploma Engineering, the merit list is prepared purely on the basis of Class 10 marks. In case of a tie in Class 10 marks, age is used as a tiebreaker, with the older candidate preferred.
