ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test

IBSAT is conducted online in a proctored test centre format over a short window of test days, and the paper is made up of multiple choice questions grouped into sections on verbal ability, reading comprehension, quantitative aptitude, and data interpretation with data adequacy. The emphasis is on speed and reasoning rather than recall, and the institute has traditionally not applied negative marking, though candidates should confirm the marking scheme in the current bulletin. Scores are used by the IBS campuses that come under the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education and the wider ICFAI group, including Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Kolkata, Gurgaon, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Dehradun. Applicants who already hold valid scores in other recognised national management tests are, in most years, also considered for selection without appearing for IBSAT.
