Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test

The paper is an aptitude test of the standard management pattern, with sections covering English language and comprehension, quantitative or mathematical ability, and logical and analytical reasoning, put together as objective multiple-choice questions. The exact number of questions, the duration, the marking scheme and whether the test is held online or on paper are announced by the university in the admission notification for the year. Candidates register on the university portal, appear on the notified date, and are then ranked in a merit list that participating institutions use for counselling and seat allotment, sometimes with a further interview or group discussion at the institute level. Seats covered include the university's own campuses and its affiliated management colleges.
