The paper is objective in style and checks general management aptitude rather than prior study of management theory. Typical areas are quantitative ability and basic mathematics, data interpretation, logical and analytical reasoning, English language and reading comprehension, and general awareness including business and current affairs. The university sets the number of questions, the duration, the medium and any negative marking rule for each admission cycle and publishes them in its admission bulletin, and the test has been offered in both centre based and online proctored form in recent years.
