KLU Engineering Entrance Exam

The paper is an objective, multiple-choice test based on the class 11 and class 12 syllabus, covering Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for the main engineering stream, with a biology option offered for certain programmes such as biotechnology. The number of questions, the sectional distribution, the duration and the marking scheme are set out in the university admission notification for each cycle, and the test is generally offered in a computer-based format with slot booking, sometimes in both remote proctored and centre-based modes and across multiple sessions. Ranks from the test drive counselling and seat allotment into the foundation's campuses, and performance is also used for merit scholarships and fee concessions announced by the university.
