Kerala Management Aptitude Test

The examination is an aptitude test rather than a subject test, so it does not assume any particular degree background. It is organised into sections that assess English language and comprehension, quantitative aptitude and numerical ability, logical and abstract reasoning, and general knowledge or contemporary business awareness. Questions are objective, and the marking scheme, including any deduction for wrong answers, is stated in the official notification. The resulting score is used for admission to MBA and related postgraduate management programmes across a large number of institutions in Kerala, including university departments and affiliated colleges. Many institutions combine the score with the candidate's academic record and a personal interaction round when preparing their final merit list. The section structure, number of questions, duration, mode of the test and the list of participating institutions are published in the official prospectus for each session.
