Kerala University Common Entrance Test

The paper is objective and aptitude based. It usually covers quantitative ability and elementary mathematics, data interpretation, logical and analytical reasoning, English language usage and reading comprehension, and general knowledge including business awareness, so no prior study of management subjects is assumed. The university fixes the number of questions, the duration, the mode and any negative marking rule for each cycle and publishes them in the prospectus, and the test has been conducted in written form at centres within Kerala. A rank list is drawn from the test performance, after which centralised counselling is held for seat allotment across the university departments and the affiliated and self financing colleges that participate. Candidates should track announcements on the university admissions portal, since the process is run entirely by the university.
