Occupational English Test Eligibility Criteria 2026

OET eligibility is open to qualified healthcare professionals who hold a valid government-recognised ID and an email address. The exam is designed for twelve healthcare roles including medicine, nursing, dentistry, dietetics, pharmacy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, optometry, podiatry, radiography, speech pathology and veterinary science. No minimum age or attempt limit is specified; candidates must meet the English language requirements set by the regulatory body in their intended country of practice.
