RIE CEE Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates for the integrated teacher education programme must have passed or be appearing in the class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board, with the subject background appropriate to the specialisation applied for. Candidates for postgraduate education programmes at the Regional Institutes must hold the bachelor level qualification specified for the course, which for a master of education generally means a recognised teacher education degree. The Regional Institutes admit candidates region-wise, so the state and region of domicile affects the seats a candidate can compete for. The minimum marks required in the qualifying examination, the relaxation for reserved category candidates, the age limit and the certificates required are stated in the official information bulletin for the year.
