The basic requirement is a recognised bachelor's degree in engineering or technology in a discipline relevant to the specialisation applied for, and for architecture programmes a recognised bachelor of architecture degree, awarded by an institution approved by the appropriate statutory body. A valid score in the relevant national postgraduate engineering entrance test gives priority in allotment, while candidates without such a score may be considered for seats remaining after that stage.
