SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination

The paper is objective and multiple choice and is based on the class 11 and class 12 syllabus in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology, together with sections on English and on aptitude covering reasoning and quantitative ability. It is delivered as a computer based or remotely proctored test, with candidates booking a slot within the announced window for each phase. The number of questions, the duration, the section wise distribution and the marking scheme, including whether negative marking applies, are stated in the admission bulletin for the cycle. After the result the university publishes a rank list and conducts counselling in which candidates verify documents, select a campus and branch and confirm the seat, with merit scholarships offered to high ranking candidates on announced terms. Campus and branch availability, fee structure and the phase schedule should be taken only from the official admission bulletin.
