TBSE HS Exam Pattern 2023 Highlights
The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has released the exam pattern for the Higher Secondary (HS) examinations for the 2022-23 session. The board has revised the marking scheme and passing criteria for this session.
For the past 2 years, the board divided the TBSE H.S exam into Term-I and Term-II. For the academic year 2022-23, there will be only one term examination, and it will be used to prepare the final result.

TBSE HS Exam Pattern 2023
The TBSE H.S written exam will be of 80 marks. The question paper is divided into multiple groups: Group-A, Group-B, Group-C, and Group-D.
- Each section has its own question type and marks weightage.
- In all subjects, 15-20 marks will be ear-marked for MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions).
- There will be no Multi correct answer-type questions. A student has to tick the single correct answer.
- The total number of MCQs must not be more than 5 in any subject.
- There will be OTQ (Objective Type Questions) in the question paper, each carrying 1 mark.
- In the Music theory exam, there could be 10-12 questions.
- There will be one internal choice option for those questions having 5 or more marks except Accountancy.
- There will be no negative marking for wrong ticked answers.
- The timing for the exam would be 3 Hours and 15 Min.

TBSE HS Exam Dates 2023
TBSE will conduct class 12 term 2 exams in March 2023, tentatively. The TBSE Class 12 Result for term 2 exams will be released in July 2023, tentatively.
