Uttar Pradesh Board Exam Eligibility Criteria
Candidates appear through their school, which must be affiliated to the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, and must have been registered with the board and have completed the required course of study and attendance in the class concerned. The class 10 examination is taken by students who have completed class 9 and the class 12 examination by students who have completed class 11 in the stream in which they are registered. Private and former candidates may appear only in the categories the board permits. The minimum pass marks, attendance requirement, registration deadlines and the rules for compartment, improvement and repeat candidates are set out in the regulations and the examination notification issued by the board.
