Vignan Scholastic Aptitude Test

The undergraduate engineering paper is objective and computer-based, drawn from the class 11 and class 12 syllabus in mathematics, physics and chemistry, with an English or aptitude component as the university notifies, so it tests school-level command rather than specialised knowledge. The test is usually offered in more than one phase and in a remotely proctored or centre-based mode, letting candidates choose a convenient slot. Ranks are used for admission to the Bachelor of Technology branches the university offers, such as computer science and engineering and its specialisations, electronics, electrical, mechanical, civil and biotechnology, and performance in the test is also used by the university to award its merit scholarships.
