West Bengal Centralised Admission Process Eligibility Criteria

  • You must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board to be eligible for the counselling process.
  • For B.A. (Hons.), you need at least 50% marks in Class 12 from a state or central recognised board. Merit is based on one language and the three best elective subjects, and you must have studied and passed the subject you want to take honours in.
  • For B.A. General, a minimum of 50% marks in the last qualifying examination is required.
  • For B.Com. (Hons.), you must have studied and passed Mathematics or Business Mathematics in the qualifying examination. You need an aggregate of 45% or more in English/Bengali and the best three subjects, which include Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics, and Business Studies/Commerce.
  • For B.Sc. (Hons.), you must have studied and passed Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology in the qualifying examination. You need an aggregate of 50% or more in English/Bengali and the best three subjects, which include Mathematics, Physics, and Biology. You also need at least 60% marks in the subject you are applying for honours in.
