IIM Mumbai has released several important updates for the 2026 admission cycle. The PI (Personal Interview) calls were released on January 21, 2026. The last date to apply for PhD admission is March 31, 2026.
Here are the key dates for MBA admission:
- CAT 2025 Exam: November 30, 2025
- CAT 2025 Result Announcement: December 24, 2025
- Shortlisting for GDPI (based on CAT 2025 scores): January 21, 2026
- Last date to apply for shortlisted candidates: February 8, 2026
- GDPI: March 8-9, 2026
- Result Announcement / Merit List Release: March 20, 2026
- Offer Release Date: March 25, 2026
- Commencement of classes: June 15, 2026
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories], awarded by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Students in the final year of the above degree can also apply subject to the following conditions:
Applicants should take the Common Admission Test (CAT-2024) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) to apply for the programs.
The gross fee applicable per student for two years programmes will be ₹ 21.00 Lakhs (inclusive of Tuition fee ₹14.00 Lakhs and Caution Money Deposit ₹50,000/-) The Caution Money Deposit will be refunded to the student on graduating from the Institute or it will be adjusted against the outstanding dues in respect of the student.
The Mess charges and Mess deposits will be paid by the students separately.
Full-time Engineering/Technology degree in any branch from a recognized university/institution with aggregate 50% marks (relaxed by 5% for SC/ST/PwD candidates). OR Full-time degree from a recognized university with aggregate 50% marks (relaxed by 5% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) in the following disciplines.
