JBIMS does not have its own in-house hostel. Only the top 25 male students receive Mumbai University hostel accommodation at Marine Drive for INR 7,000 per year. Girls must opt for paying guest (PG) accommodations or rentals, as no hostel facility exists for them.
The campus also lacks its own sports ground.
Students should budget approximately INR 18,000 to 30,000 per month for living expenses in and around Churchgate, South Mumbai. This includes rent for shared PG accommodation (INR 12,000 to 20,000), food, local transport, and personal expenses.
South Mumbai is significantly more expensive than areas like Powai or Andheri. Some students opt to stay slightly farther away and commute via local train, which is both fast and affordable.
