It includes companies like Amazon, ZS Associates, Meesho, and Juspay providing MME students with options for non-core roles. Major software companies can limit the options to CSE/IT/ECE streams alone. What is the atmosphere at MANIT, Bhopal like?

Before joining MANIT Bhopal, I was also worried about how the atmosphere on campus would be. But when I got here, I realized that ragging has almost gone extinct on campus. Since the past few years, there have been no cases of ragging in the college. MANIT might not be your first choice, but you’ll come to love this college with time. The college has a good reputation, and your hardwork will get you your dream job. The CSE department witnesses really good placements, and now, even the other branches are performing well. Every student of this college gets equal placement opportunities. With the required skill set and a good personality, you can easily crack campus interviews and get placed. MANIT is a good college with lots of opportunities. As an NIT, it has a brand value as well.

Which is good for a B.Arch: SPA Bhopal or MANIT Bhopal?

As far as academics are concerned, SPA Bhopal is better in my opinion. This is backed by the fact that SPA Bhopal requires higher JEE Paper 2 ranks for admission into its B.Arch program. Additionally, SPAs are dedicated to Architecture and Planning studies. So they have a higher branch value in the field of Architecture. Now, MANIT Bhopal is also a good college. One advantage is that it is located in Bhopal city. On the other hand, SPA Bhopal is located on the city outskirts. For branch value, join SPA Bhopal. But for a better exposure to city life and the associated advantages, join MANIT Bhopal.

How is the Chemical Engineering department at MANIT Bhopal?

The situation of B.Tech Chemical at MANIT Bhopal is much better on paper than in real life. The curriculum looks brilliant on paper, but the department faculty is relatively inexperienced to stick to it in a proper manner. The placement scenario is average, yet better than the situation of some other core branches at MANIT. In case you want to choose Chemical only to switch to some other branch later on, make sure to maintain good grades in your first year. However, at the same time, research on the opportunities in Chemical Engineering. You might not get a branch switch. Under such circumstances, you’ll have to stick to Chemical for the remaining part of your B.Tech degree. This field has a lot of opportunities in the government sector, private sector, IT sector and research. Chemical Engineers are considered as mainstream engineers in process and manufacturing plants. So make sure to research well before choosing Chemical Engineering. You won’t regret joining Chemical at MANIT. At the end, everything will depend upon how much effort you are willing to put in.
