What are the differences between NMIMS B school and SIBM Pune? Which one is considered better?

If you're trying to figure out whether to pursue an MBA at NMIMS or SIBM Pune, here’s a quick comparison based on what people usually mention. NMIMS, being in Mumbai, often attracts higher salary packages, averaging around ?28 LPA, with top ones reaching ?49 LPA. The school benefits from strong industry ties, which is a plus if you're aiming for finance or consulting roles. However, the cost is quite high at ?25 Lakhs.SIBM Pune, meanwhile, has a smaller batch size, making the environment feel more connected and friendly. The campus vibe is more laid-back, and the fees are slightly lower at ?24.2 Lakhs. The average salary there is about ?18.6 LPA, which is respectable but not quite as high as NMIMS.Both institutions have a good academic reputation, but SIBM Pune is known for its interactive learning style, whereas NMIMS emphasizes practical exposure. People I’ve spoken to from both schools say it really depends on your priorities: if you're after the fast-paced city life and higher salary potential, NMIMS is a solid choice. But if you lean towards smaller groups and a more relaxed atmosphere, SIBM Pune could be a better fit.Ultimately, the decision comes down to what you’re looking for in your MBA journey—be it higher earnings, campus life, or financial considerations. Both options can significantly advance your career!
