About this Scholarship
The IsDB Scholarship Programmes fund full tuition and living expenses for Indian students at undergraduate, master’s, PhD and post-doctoral levels who wish to study abroad. Administered by the Islamic Development Bank, these scholarships support students from IsDB member countries and Muslim communities in non-member countries. Since 1983, the programmes have aimed to build technical and scientific capacity by enabling talented individuals to pursue higher education overseas.
Eligibility Criteria
Open to Indian citizens who are Muslims or belong to Muslim communities. Applicants must hold a relevant prior degree for master’s, PhD or post-doctoral levels. There is no minimum marks requirement stated; selection is based on academic merit and financial need.
Preference may be given to applicants from economically weaker sections.
