The MSME Technology Development Centre offers a six-month certificate course in 2017 for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates. The program includes CNC Milling, CNC Turning, Foundry Technology, and Solar PV Technician specializations. Conducted by the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, the course aims to provide technical skills and employment opportunities in foundry and allied sectors.
Classes are held at the MSME TDC PPDC Coimbatore Extension Centre in Arasur, Tamil Nadu, with a duration of six months (780 hours) or three months for the Solar PV program. The course is free of cost and focuses on practical training to enhance employability.
Eligibility Criteria
Open to Indian nationals belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). Candidates must have passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination or equivalent. There are no additional income or marks criteria specified.
Applicants must submit a copy of their Aadhaar card, caste certificate, educational qualification proof, and a passport-sized photograph during enrollment.
