State Institute of Hotel Management - [IHM]

State Institute of Hotel Management, Rohtak commonly referred as IHM Rohtak offers B.Sc and Diploma Courses in hotel management. Programs are offered in association with the National Council for Hotel Management and the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).

For such programs, applications for admission will be available online and offline. SIHM conducts the admission on the basis of-

• Admission to the B.Sc. program is regulated by NCHMCT and is done on the basis of the national level entrance test NCHMCT JEE followed by the interview.
• The counselling is through NCHMCT JEE Counselling for B.Sc. applicants.
• Admission to the 1 and a half year diploma course is regulated by the institute itself based on previous qualifying exam marks.

IHM Rohtak was established in 2009, and is an autonomous body under the Department of Tourism approved by Govt. of Haryana. It is also a Registered Society and is affiliated to the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT).

The institute has been ranked in the #19 position by the NIRF 2019. 

Placement statistics for 2019 show that a total of 86 students were placed out of which 65 were positioned as Management Trainees and 21 as Supervisors.

The average salary package offered to the Management Training Students was INR 20,000-28,000 per annum and the Supervisor position was INR 15,000-20,000 per annum.
