Aarhus University History

The university was first established in 1928 and opened its doors for education. Later in September 1933, King Christian X inaugurated the first university building that was designed by Kay Fisker and C. F. Møller. Later in 1992, the Faculty of Sciences at the university was established. The Aarhus School of Engineering was later merged with the university in 2012.
