circle News & updates
Organizing and hosting events is essential to the development of ESMT Berlin, its faculty, and its research centers. These events provide interdisciplinary platforms for dialogue among our faculty, other academics, policymakers, and business leaders, fostering new networks for future collaboration.
Further events are noted on the web pages of our centers and institutes.
(All events are by invitation only and in English unless otherwise noted!)
If available, please visit the conference website for a complete history of the event for ESMT organized and co-organized faculty research events.
Research seminars are a cornerstone of scholarly life, providing a structured forum for intellectual exchange. At an institution like ESMT, where academic strengths span an increasing number of fields, seminar series foster rigorous dialogue and meaningfully advance the development of the presenters’ research.
The FRS series gives faculty members from ESMT Berlin and other international institutions a forum for academic exchange. FRS invites participants in all fields and areas to contribute to the continuing professional development of the faculty. ESMT faculty (internal) and guest speakers (external) present their research on a weekly basis, typically on Wednesdays from 12:00–13:00. For more information, please contact Faculty Research Events at fre@esmt.org.
For an overview of upcoming speakers, please see this calendar.
The FSS is a joint effort between ESMT Berlin and Humboldt University of Berlin with the aim of fostering the exchange between active researchers in the areas of finance. Seminars are typically held on Thursdays from 14:00–15:15. If you are interested in attending a specific talk, it is necessary to register for that presentation by emailing: Faculty Research Events.
